Welcome!

NHS staff survey results for 2015 peaked at 24.8% of staff experiencing harassment, bullying or abuse from staff in the last 12 months.  This statistic was sustained in the 2016 staff survey. That is one quarter of the workforce.  This is a national scandal that is in plain sight.

Institutionalised coercion, systemic abuse and bullying cultures are rife in the NHS.  The impact on both staff welfare and patient care is unquantified to date.  Silence shrouds dialogue on the topic, shame prevents the voice of narratives being heard as victims are blamed.  It’s time for long over due change.

This blog is a space for those voices to be heard, and together, our collective voice will be far louder.
